FOOD & DRINK SECTOR SKILLS
Food and Drink Sector Skills is an employer led body which exists to champion the skills agenda on behalf of the Northern Ireland Agri-food manufacturing sector. Food and Drink Sector Skills is self-sustaining through the delivery of a variety of programmes. The partnership between Food and Drink Sector Skills and Improve ensures that the skills needs of local employers are reflected on a national basis.

EMPLOYER BASED
Food and Drink Sector Skills is employer based and includes representation from all the sectors reflected in Improve’s footprint e.g. baking, red and white meat, dairy, fish, millers and general processors. It also has representation from the education and training sector and the trade unions.
OUR GOALS
We aim to make the Agri-food manufacturing sector the career of choice for our best young people, should they be straight from school post GCSE, or those that have achieved a University education.
